UNITAN produces the Mr. Collegiate African-American Scholarship Pageant™, founded in 1990, Miss Black and Gold, Miss HBCU and Miss Collegiate Black America. We have assisted in the career development and enhancement of Dellenor Miles (Sister Ella), Terry Ellis (EnVogue), Chris Martin (DJ Premier-Gang Starr), Monique Ridge (Under One Roof), Beyonce (Destiny’s Child formerly Girl’s Time), J. Stone and KiKi, Loni Love (The Real) and Troy Hogan (Friday Night Lights).

 

Some of our clients included Andre’ Pitre (In the Nick of Time and Rapor), Norton Campbell, Mama Goose™ (formerly Mary Ann Palmer - Country Vocalist), Belinda Coney, Carlena Lewis, Marlon Jackson and D.D. Bret (Da Duchess of Blues and Zydeco Country).

 

The CEO founded Jazz Music Association™, the Academy of Jazz Music™, Black Country Music Association™, Black Country Music Foundation™, Miss Collegiate America & Mr. Collegiate African-American Scholarship Pageant Programs™, Miss/Ms. American/USA Plus™ , Ms. Collegiate  Mom ™, Miss HBCU and Miss Collegiate Black America Pageants, ELLFUR Publishing (ASCAP), the Frederick Douglass Leadership and Marcus Garvey Academy.

 

Created or supported PVAMU musical groups: Eclipse, Infinity, BASIS, Sincerely Yours, Magical Soul Brothas (Nappy Head Kuzins and  Ideal.
